The easy and conventional handling protocol of the Imperacer® system is comparable to standard immunoassays. On average the Imperacer assay takes about:
- 1 hour total hands-on time
- 4 hours total duration

As an example, the Imperacer assay for the detection of a native lectin in human serum results in:
- intra-assay precision (two-fold determination): 1.73 ± 0.66%
- inter-assay precision (six-fold determination): 2.9 ± 0.9%
- inter-individuell precision (two individuals): 2.13 ± 1.66%
- average recovery: 95 ± 8%
- regression coefficient (R2) of the calibration curve: 0.99
