MorphoSys' Antibodies by Design and Chimera Biotec Extend Cooperation and Co-Marketing Agreement

Dortmund/Munich, AbD Serotec, a Division of MorphoSys AG, Munich, and Chimera Biotec GmbH today announced the extension of a co-marketing agreement between the two companies. Within the scope of the agreement the parties agreed to co-market the rapid generation of monoclonal antibodies by AbD Serotec and Chimera Biotec's complementary Imperacer® assay technology for ultra-sensitive antigen detection. Each partner will offer the services of the other to its customers throughout the world-wide market.

Chimera Biotec Partners with AvTech Laboratories to Provide Ultra-High Sensitive Immunoassay Technology to U.S.

Kalamazoo, AvTech Laboratories, a division of Eurofins Scientific, and Chimera Biotec GmbH of Dortmund, Germany have signed a cooperation agreement that combines Chimera's ultra-high sensitive immunoassay technology, Imperacer®, with AvTech's expertise in state-of-the-art analytical services. Under the agreement, AvTech will serve as the primary provider of Imperacer® in the United States.

Athletic Doping Gets 1,000 Times Harder to Hide with New Highly Sensitive Testing

Dortmund/Cologne, Steroids and other forms of illegal substance abuse are 1,000 times easier to detect in athletes thanks to a new highly sensitive technology created by Chimera Biotec and German Sports University. Sponsored by the World Anti-Doping Agency in Montreal, the Imperacer® technology produces a 1,000-fold increase in sensitivity for detecting specific proteins or other substances.
